A motorcyclist was fined 1,000 lei by the Bucharest Gendarmerie for projecting the message 'March to Moscow!' on the buildings in University Square during the protest organized by AUR. The incident generated strong reactions from the participants, which required the intervention of the gendarmes to prevent the escalation of the conflict.
According to the Gendarmerie's statement, the motorcyclist was fined for inciting violence, according to Law no. 60/1991. He was ordered to leave the area after the law enforcement forces separated the aggressive group from him. The motorcyclist, Adrian Băzăvan, had previously been sanctioned for a similar incident when he shouted the same message at a manifestation on the Day of Union. He denounced the organizers of the AUR protest on social media, accusing them of manipulating the participants.
