The Ministry of National Defense detected a drone at the border of Romania with Ukraine. A military helicopter was deployed for monitoring.

The Ministry of National Defense (MApN) announced on Wednesday that its radar surveillance system identified an aerial object approximately 8 kilometers north of Vâlcove, Ukraine, near the border with Romania.

As a result, an IAR-330 PUMA SOCAT helicopter of the Romanian Air Forces was launched to monitor the situation.

The National Military Command Center informed the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, which issued a RO-ALERT message to alert the population in the north and east of Tulcea County at 1:15 PM.
