Miruță, about the new downed drone: It was neutralized a few minutes after it was detected.

The interim Minister of Defense, Radu Miruță, announced that a new drone which illegally entered Romanian airspace was detected by the MApN radars at 08:22 and neutralized a few minutes later by an F-16 aircraft of the Romanian Air Forces.

According to him, the drone was shot down approximately 10 kilometers west of the town of Sfântu Gheorghe, in safe conditions.

The incident occurs less than 24 hours after another drone was shot down, for the first time, in Buzău County.
