The Ministry of Investments and European Projects (MIPE) has launched an unprecedented transparency initiative by publishing on its official website all expenses related to foreign trips made by the institution's leadership in the last five years. This decision, announced by Dragoș Pîslaru, aims to rebuild citizens' trust in state institutions, with MIPE becoming the first ministry to provide this data in an open format.

The platform will be constantly updated, allowing for real-time monitoring of public fund management for diplomatic missions. Additionally, the data shows a significant reduction in costs for foreign trips, six times lower compared to previous periods, due to an austerity policy that included the use of economy flights and a reduction in the number of members in delegations. Pîslaru mentioned that, in some cases, he personally covered part of the transportation costs.
