Health Minister: Romania needs to urgently reform the health insurance system, drawing inspiration from efficient models such as that of Israel, in order to improve medical services.

Alexandru Rogobete emphasized the importance of reforming the health insurance system in Romania, highlighting the meeting with representatives of the Israeli system, which operates on the basis of competition, digitization, and patient orientation. He stated that Romania can no longer postpone the necessary changes, having four public insurance houses that generate competition and, implicitly, better services. Rogobete called for action, emphasizing that reforms must be implemented without pride and without reinventing the wheel, but by adapting already effective models. The minister stressed that for a coherent health system, it is essential to initiate these reforms without delays.
