Emil Hurezeanu said that, so far, no Romanians have been evacuated from Northern Ireland, despite tensions caused by anti-immigration protests. MFA representatives are in contact with local authorities and the Romanian community. Mr Hurezeanu described the images of the protests as "outrageous" and underlined the complexity of the situation, which includes tensions between different communities of foreigners. Although there have been no evacuation requests, the MFA is monitoring the situation and is ready to intervene if necessary.
