The technical measure is aimed at preventing water seepage into the Praid Salina, which is essential for the safety of tourist and economic activities. With the activation of the system, the 22 motor pumps have started to be withdrawn, freeing the area for hydro-technical works. The intervention, coordinated by Apele Române Mureș, includes constant monitoring of water quality, with daily analyses and automatic sensors on the rivers in the area. Chloride values have dropped significantly and the teams remain mobilized until complete safety is restored.
