Constantin Toma, the PSD mayor of Buzăului, said that Marcel Ciolacu is to blame for Romania's economic situation, criticizing his party colleagues for the inefficient measures adopted in the last two years. Toma believes that recent fiscal measures are necessary but insufficient without economic development and attracting investors. He underlines that PSD has lost touch with the electorate and that the current leadership has not been dismissed, noting that many members have migrated to AUR. Reacting to Ciolacu's statements, Toma accuses him of a lack of responsibility in acknowledging the economic problems.
