Ciprian Ciucu, the mayor of the Capital, announced that he has signed the construction permit for the safety and rehabilitation of I.G. Duca School, in Sector 5, at the request of the mayor of Sector 5, Piedone Jr. The authorization documentation had been blocked for several years due to non-compliance issues. After consultations with the chief architect, solutions were provided to complete the documentation.

Ciucu emphasized the importance of cooperation between municipalities for the good of the community, mentioning that parents and teachers want students to return to school as soon as possible. He also responded to attacks from former mayor Piedone Sr., stating that being a human is an important value.
