The Bihor Forestry Directorate announces that approximately 670 trees, equivalent to 235 cubic meters of wood, will be cut down to clear the area of sick or dangerous trees. Although the forest appears healthy, specialists warn that many trees are dry or affected by pests.

The company responsible for the logging must clean the affected area and utilize the extracted wood, most of which is intended for sale as firewood.
