A martial arts coach from Bucharest has been detained on charges of sexual assault of 4 female athletes aged between 11 and 17.

The incident took place at a pension in the resort of Voineasa, during a training camp attended by 18 people. One of the parents alerted the authorities after her daughter told her that the coach was making inappropriate gestures towards one of her classmates. The allegations were later confirmed and the coach was arrested and taken to court.
