The Ministry of National Defense (MApN) has initiated consultations for two draft Government Decisions aimed at the acquisition of modern weaponry according to NATO standards. The projects include individual weaponry and tracked combat vehicles, with a focus on Romanian manufacturing. MApN aims to protect the supply chain through technology transfer and local production, thus ensuring national security. These initiatives will allow the Romanian Army to be equipped with modern equipment adapted to today's security challenges.
