A 34-year-old man was immobilized and restrained by police on Saturday morning, around 07:30, after he threatened several people, including minors, with a knife at a bus stop in Sector 4 of the Capital.
The incident was reported through a call to 112, which alerted the authorities about the man's aggressive behavior. The police quickly intervened at the scene, managing to immobilize him and restrain him. Subsequently, the man was taken to the headquarters of Police Station 14, where he was handed over to the officers of the Public Transport Police Brigade, who continue the investigations.
Following an assessment of his condition, the man was taken to the 'Prof. Dr. Alexandru Obregia' Clinical Psychiatric Hospital, where he remained hospitalized for treatment.
