The incident happened in the area of Vârf Moldoveanu, where a man fell 100 meters, suffering wounds and abrasions. After going into shock, he managed to become conscious and cooperative. Due to the severity of his injuries, ground intervention was impossible, so a helicopter was requested. A young man passing in the area provided assistance and information until the arrival of the rescue crew from Caransebeș.
