A 63-year-old man from the Lipănești commune, Prahova County, was detained by the police for 24 hours after driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and with a suspended driving license. The incident occurred on Thursday in the Gura Vitioarei commune, where the police intervened following a 112 call reporting a traffic obstruction. The man ignored the police signals to stop and was caught after a chase. When tested with a breathalyzer, a blood alcohol concentration of 0.63 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air was found. Due to the severity of the committed offenses, he will be presented on Friday to the prosecutor's office for further legal measures.
