A 20-year-old man who assaulted a Bengali delivery driver in Bucharest and called him an "invader" has been sent to trial for assault or other violence committed for racial reasons and for using fascist symbols in public. The incident occurred on August 26, 2025, and the victim required 1-2 days of medical care. If found guilty, the defendant faces between 1 and 6 years in prison, depending on the severity of the acts.
