A man from Brăila stabbed his friend in the throat after an argument at a party. The aggressor was arrested for attempted murder.

In a violent incident in the commune of Ulmu, Braila County, a 61-year-old man stabbed his friend, also 61 years old, in the throat, after an argument that broke out following alcohol consumption at a Saint John’s party. The two had known each other for over 30 years. The conflict escalated quickly, and the aggressor pulled out a knife and attacked his friend.

A neighbor, who witnessed the incident, called 112, and the victim was urgently transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The aggressor was placed in preventive arrest and is accused of attempted qualified murder. During the hearings, he expressed regret for his actions, emphasizing the long-standing friendship with the victim.
