A 43-year-old man from Baia Mare was stopped by the police three times on the same night for driving under the influence of alcohol.

On March 15, a 43-year-old man from Baia Mare was stopped for the first time by the police while riding his bicycle, having a blood alcohol concentration of 1.08 mg/l. After 40 minutes, he was caught again, this time at the wheel of a car, with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.99 mg/l. Although his license was revoked and he received penalties, the man continued to drive.

At the third stop, he refused to pull over, being pursued by the police. Once stopped, he became aggressive, requiring the intervention of the gendarmes. During the breathalyzer test, the alcohol concentration was 0.90 mg/l. A criminal case was opened against him for the committed acts.
