The Court of Sector 6 has fined a man from Bucharest, Gabriel Constantinescu, with a criminal fine of 8,400 lei for public incitement. In May, he urged former detainees and reservists to occupy the Government headquarters, calling for a "new revolution" in the context of the presidential elections.
The court also imposed a complementary penalty, prohibiting him from exercising certain political rights for 2 years. Gabriel Constantinescu was placed under judicial control for publishing a video on social media, in which he incited violent actions, expressing his dissatisfaction with the possible annulment of the elections. He invited reservists and former detainees to join a forceful action against the authorities, promising to organize a revolution.
