A serious incident occurred at the Milk Cave, Brașov County, where a 49-year-old man was attacked by a bear during a hike. Doctors intervened quickly after the call to 112 and transported the victim to the Brașov County Hospital for further investigations and specialized care. The man was conscious but had scratches on his head, face, upper limbs, and back. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the attack, considering that the area is frequented by tourists and known for the presence of bears. Mountain gendarmes and the Forestry Guard recommend increased caution to those visiting the nearby forests. The Milk Cave, with a 22-meter gallery, is renowned for its paleontological and historical significance, where fossils and ceramic fragments have been found and displayed at the Vâlcea County History Museum.
