Cluj: A man was arrested after threatening a store employee with a gun

Police from Secția 2 Cluj-Napoca detained a 40-year-old man for threats, violation of weapon regulations, and disturbing public order. The incident occurred on June 4, when the man threatened an employee of a commercial company in Cluj-Napoca, using a blank-firing pistol. The police were notified via 112, and at the scene, security agents detained the man by activating the panic button.

Investigations revealed that he manipulated the weapon in front of the victim to intimidate her, causing a state of fear among those present. The man was detained for 24 hours and subsequently presented to a judge, who ordered judicial control for 60 days. The investigation continues under the coordination of the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Cluj-Napoca Court.
