Man under electronic monitoring, repeatedly detained after serious violations of the protection order and threats against the former partner

Under electronic monitoring due to a protection order issued to protect his former partner, the 39-year-old man has been detained multiple times for violating the imposed measures.

Since the issuance of the order on November 25, the man has abandoned or cut the monitoring bracelet on several occasions and has sent threatening messages to the victim. The Capital Police have intervened each time to check on the woman's safety, considering it a priority.

Although the man did not approach the victim, his violations were serious, culminating in the discovery of threatening notes left on the victim's mother's car. After another violation of the monitoring measures, the man was found and detained, and will be presented to the court.
