A 39-year-old man has been placed in preventive detention for high-risk drug trafficking, being accused of procuring and possessing crystalline substances with the intent to sell them in Timiș County.

Police officers from the Timișoara Organized Crime Fighting Brigade, together with DIICOT prosecutors, discovered during a search of his residence 23 bags containing 11.5 kilograms of high-risk drug (4-CMC) and 29 packets with crystalline and plant substances. The man was apprehended, and the judge ordered his preventive detention for 30 days. The operation was supported by criminal specialists and gendarmes from Timiș.
