A man from Ilfov was detained after posing as the father of a newborn abandoned in a hospital in Bucharest.

<p>The man posed as the baby's father and managed to get him out of the hospital, later obtaining a birth certificate with his name. The baby's mother left him alone in hospital a few days after the birth, after she asked to be discharged. Police officers identified the man and detained him for 24 hours, and the baby was placed in emergency foster care.
