A man from Dolj was detained for 24 hours after assaulting his partner and threatening her at gunpoint. The woman called 112.

A 40-year-old man has been detained by Dolj police officers after he assaulted his partner, a 44-year-old Spanish woman, at gunpoint. The woman managed to flee and call 112 for help, and was found on a street in the commune of Bistreț. Police quickly intervened, immobilizing the man and finding a pistol and plastic pellets in his home. The woman was taken to hospital for treatment and the man is to be presented to the Public Prosecutor's Office for legal action.
