The Emergency Inspectorate of Galati intervenes to extinguish a heavy tire fire in Șendreni, with large smoke

On Sunday evening, ISU Galati was alerted of a significant fire in the locality of Șendreni, where about 500 tires burned, generating large smoke. The authorities issued an RO-Alert message to inform the population about the danger. Two fire engines are being deployed and other equipment will be added. Citizens are advised to avoid the area and close doors and locks to protect themselves from the dense smoke.
