A strong fire broke out in Sălaj County, without causing any casualties. ISU Sălaj mobilized 10 fire trucks to extinguish the fire.

On Friday, a major fire broke out at a warehouse in the locality of Șeredeiu, with flames covering an area of approximately 800 square meters. The Emergency Situations Inspectorate (ISU) Sălaj reported that no individuals were caught inside the building and that, so far, no one has required medical assistance.

For the intervention, ISU mobilized forces and resources from the Fire Department of Șimleu Silvaniei, the Intervention Guard of Nușfalău, and the Zalău Fire Department, involving 10 intervention vehicles, a medical first aid team, and a firefighting vehicle from the SVSU Crasna. Additionally, ISU Sălaj issued a RO-ALERT message to warn the population about the major fire and the large smoke emissions. Authorities continue to monitor the situation and are working to extinguish the fire.
