Former PSD deputy, Laura Vicol, announced that she has filed a criminal complaint against MEP Siegfried Mureșan, accusing him of contributing to her stigmatization through a Facebook post.

Vicol claims that Mureșan associated her with the Nordis case, publicly labeling her, which has led to a campaign of hatred against her and her family that has lasted for almost two years. She states that she has been the target of severe threats and insults, and the MEP's post had serious consequences. Vicol emphasizes that any public person should be aware of the effects of such labeling and believes that freedom of expression does not justify exposing a person to hatred.

So far, Siegfried Mureșan has not commented on this complaint.
