President Klaus Iohannis sent a message on the occasion of Heroes' Day, underlining the possible security threats in the region.

The message was presented by presidential advisor Ion Oprișor during the ceremony at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier in Carol I Park in Bucharest. Iohannis underlined that Europe is facing a brutal war of aggression, initiated by Russia against Ukraine, and stressed the importance of honoring the heroes who made the supreme sacrifice.
