The Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) Prahova announced that, due to the lack of drinking water in several localities, it will distribute household water with the help of four tank trucks of 9000 liters. The first shipments have been sent to the towns of Câmpina and Băicoi. The distribution of household water, which is not intended for consumption, is done in collaboration with local authorities, which provide containers for storage and distribution. Tens of thousands of residents in Prahova County do not have drinking water due to the low level in the Paltinu dam and recent rains, which have led to excessive turbidity to allow water treatment. This situation also affects public institutions, medical units, and private companies, including the hospital in Câmpina, which has suspended admissions.
