Djedovic Handanovic announced on Instagram that the Iron Gates 3 reversible hydroelectric power plant will contribute to the stability of energy systems and electricity storage. The project, with a capacity of 1,800 MW and an estimated cost of €1.4 billion, is planned to be completed by 2038. Serbia has completed the necessary studies and is working with Romania on existing projects. The former Romanian energy minister emphasized that there will be no compromise on energy production from existing power plants.
