Defense Minister Ionuț Moșteanu announced that Rafael has won the tender for the SHORAD-VSHORAD program, the contract will be signed in the autumn.

In an interview with TVR Info, Ionuț Moșteanu, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, said that Rafael is the winner of the tender procedure for the SHORAD-VSHORAD missiles, essential for Romania's defense. These short- and very short-range missiles are needed to protect airports, military bases and cities. The contract is to be signed in the fall, after the necessary correspondence has been finalized.
