The Prime Minister stated that Romania is already looking for partners from other countries for investments in the defense industry, with production to take place in our country.
"During this period, the focus has been on allocating the sum that was distributed to Romania through this program of loans with very favorable interest rates. The largest part, approximately 12 billion euros, is allocated for military purchases, while four billion are allocated for civil-military mobility infrastructure. It is also a priority for us that this second component be allocated for the completion of the highway ends in Moldova, such as Pașcani-Iași-Ungheni, connectivity with the Republic of Moldova, and also the direction towards Suceava, connecting with Ukraine," said Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan on Thursday evening at Euronews Romania.
