<p>Ionuț Mircea Costea, Mircea Geoană's brother-in-law, was sentenced in May 2023 to 6 years in prison in the DNA case regarding the rehabilitation of the Bucharest-Constanta railroad. After he fled the country, he was put under international arrest and will be brought from Turkey to Otopeni airport, where he will be handed over to the Romanian authorities.
