Ion Sterian has been reconfirmed as Transgaz's managing director until spring 2029, the decision was taken by the Board of Directors. Sterian, who earns 1,906,451 lei net per year, has an apartment in the United Arab Emirates. The other board members who voted for him include people with varied backgrounds in administration and consulting, each with significant incomes from Transgaz and other institutions. His contract includes favorable clauses in case of premature dismissal.
