Police investigation in Cernavodă after the discovery of a corpse in the Danube

The police from the Cernavodă Police Department have opened an investigation after the lifeless body of a person was discovered in the Danube, in the area of the locality of Seimenii Mici. The authorities were alerted by a call to 112, and police and criminal investigation teams were dispatched to the scene for initial inquiries. The corpse was transported to the morgue for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death, while investigators are conducting checks to identify the victim and clarify the circumstances under which the tragedy occurred.
