The Interior Ministry reacted to false rumors that Romania would offer asylum to a large number of Israeli citizens, saying that this information is being spread intentionally to create confusion and amplify anti-Semitism. The ministry has notified the digital platforms publishing these materials and has started legal proceedings. The MIA asks citizens not to distribute such information and to rely on official sources to verify its veracity.
