In October 2025, the number of death certificates was 20,609, an increase of 1,776 compared to September, representing a growth of 9.4%. The natural increase remained negative, with 7,081 more deaths than births. In the same month, 13,528 births were registered, a decrease of 7.5% compared to the previous month. The majority of deaths were among elderly individuals, with 42.7% being over 80 years old. Additionally, 8,685 marriages and 2,208 divorces were recorded. Compared to October 2024, the number of deaths increased by 3.1%, while births were 14.3% higher. The natural increase was negative in both 2025 and 2024, and deaths rose in both urban and rural areas.
