On Monday, around noon, traffic on Colentina Road, one of the busiest arteries in Bucharest, was blocked due to an incident in which a car caught fire. The people in the car managed to get out before the flames engulfed the vehicle.

Fire crews intervened at the scene to extinguish the fire. The incident led to significant traffic jams, especially on the inbound route to Bucharest, and the tram service 21 was also affected. Authorities continue to work to clear the area and restore traffic.
