Raids in Neamț: Solar with over 2,600 cannabis plants discovered by investigators

A large greenhouse, containing 2,669 cannabis plants with a green mass of approximately 2.4 tons, was discovered following a raid conducted by police and prosecutors in the commune of Dragomirești, Neamț County.

The criminal activity was documented by the Neamț Organized Crime Fighting Service, which investigated two individuals for drug trafficking. One of them allegedly initiated a cannabis cultivation in the yard of her home, being assisted by the other person. The raid uncovered not only the plants but also a cannabis processing laboratory equipped with specialized equipment. Additionally, 88 kilograms of dried plant material, 400 grams of cannabis buds, and other substances were confiscated.

The two detained individuals are set to be presented to the court with a proposal for preventive arrest for 30 days.
