Local police sanctioned the organizer of an illegal Christmas fair, called Mushi Land, in the reclaimed area of IOR Park, Sector 3, with a fine of 10,000 lei. Authorities found that the organizers did not have the necessary permits to build metal structures and conduct commercial activities. The works were halted, and the organizers were ordered to obtain all legal approvals before continuing.

The fair was supposed to open on December 4, but the negative reactions from residents regarding the rides and metal installations in the area were swift. The organizers claimed that the activity was taking place on private land and that they were complying with legal norms, but there were controversies regarding the legality of the event, considering that a similar attempt was stopped in 2023 for lack of permits.
