IKEA has announced the modernization of its store in Băneasa, the first unit opened in Romania 18 years ago. This remodeling aims to transform the store into a flagship for the country, integrating innovative elements tested in other IKEA locations. Vincent Devloo, area retail manager for IKEA Southeast Europe, emphasized that the investment is long-term, considering the development of the area, including the construction of a subway station. Among the planned modifications are the expansion of the restaurant, which has generated significant sales, and the implementation of automated solutions for an improved culinary experience. Additionally, the store will benefit from digitalization to optimize the shopping experience, considering the concept of the "store of the future." IKEA Băneasa will integrate these innovations to provide the best shopping experience in Romania.
