The Municipality of Bucharest has announced the suspension of hot water in various areas of the capital for the rehabilitation of the heating system, from April 27 to May 11. The works are essential for modernizing the network, aiming to replace pipes that are 50-60 years old.

During the mentioned period, streets such as Turnu Măgurele, Luică, Obregia, Bd. Brâncoveanu, and others will be affected. Additionally, between May 4 and 8, hot water will be turned off in the Sebastian area, Calea Rahovei, and Ferentari.

After May 12, the suspension will continue for five days in the areas of Nicole Grigorescu, Basarabia, and Iancului. Currently, over 800 blocks in Bucharest have issues with hot water, and the heating system is operating at 91%. The Municipal Company Termoenergetica has updated the list of affected blocks, mentioning the reasons why hot water is not available.
