Hidroelectrica responded to the statements from the Recorder investigation, considering that the presentation of situations from the period 2018–2022 is distorted and risks affecting the company's image. It emphasizes that the reported aspects have already been investigated internally, and the company operates according to strict corporate governance standards. Hidroelectrica clarifies that the supply activity is managed by specialized departments, not by the CEO, and that the billing delays had objective causes, such as the pandemic and legislative changes. Regarding the Aurora Trading case, the company has notified DIICOT of suspicions of crimes, proactively acting against violations. Additionally, Hidroelectrica rejects any association with political disputes and reaffirms its commitment to integrity and providing energy at a fair price.
