Hidroelectrica, the largest energy producer in Romania and supplier for approximately one million customers, will launch a Black Friday offer for residential consumers, announced the company's general director, Bogdan Badea.

The President of Hidroelectrica, Bogdan Badea, announced that the energy producer will launch a Black Friday offer for residential consumers at the end of the month. Currently, Hidroelectrica has a price of 0.453 lei/kWh, and water reserves are at 73%, compared to 63% last year. Although this year has been dry, the company expects a profit of 3 billion lei, a remarkable performance in the context of reduced production. Hidroelectrica recently surpassed the threshold of 1 million customers, reflecting consumer confidence in its services. The company entered the supply market in 2020 and quickly became an important player, holding a market share of 17.60%. It has implemented modernization and digitalization projects, including an online contracting portal, thus facilitating interaction with customers. With a capacity of 6.4 GW, Hidroelectrica remains the largest producer of renewable energy in Romania, continuing to invest in renewable sources and modern services for consumers.
