In the last 48 hours, the Sculeni Border Crossing Point has recorded heavy traffic, with approximately 30,000 people and over 7,600 means of transport, which represents a 40% increase compared to the same period last year. Authorities have stated that they have increased personnel and have utilized all 13 control lanes at maximum capacity to reduce waiting times, which have reached approximately 60 minutes during certain time intervals. The Iasi Territorial Inspectorate of the Border Police has implemented additional measures, including the use of mobile control equipment and the 'reverse' procedure to optimize the flow of travelers.

The total transit duration is influenced by the mandatory checks carried out by the authorities. Authorities recommend using all available crossing points and consulting the Trafic on-line application to avoid congestion.
