Meteorologists have issued a yellow warning for heat on Sunday, June 21, in 20 counties, with temperatures that can reach 36 degrees. At the same time, torrential rain, electrical discharges, and storms are expected, especially in mountainous areas and in the western regions.

"Maximum temperatures will range between 26...28 degrees on the coast and in the depressions of eastern Transylvania and 31...33 degrees in the west, northwest, center, south, and southeast of the territory, higher up to 35...36 degrees on Sunday (June 21) in Banat, Crișana, and in the southwest of Oltenia, where it will be hot," the ANM reported.

Also, on Monday, June 22, the yellow warning will remain in effect, with high temperatures in Maramureș and northwest Transylvania. Atmospheric instability will continue, with torrential rains and wind intensifications, and in Bucharest, high thermal discomfort is expected, with temperatures of 31-32 degrees.
