A survey conducted by Genesis Property shows that 52% of employees from Generation Z prefer face-to-face collaboration with managers and colleagues, to the detriment of online meetings. Almost 55% of employees believe that breaks and personal discussions are the most enjoyable activities at the office. Young people from this generation, who previously preferred remote work, are rediscovering the office as an essential space for interaction and collaboration.
Additionally, 57% of respondents state that direct discussions facilitate quick decision-making. The office is seen as a catalyst for creativity and informal learning, and 51% of employees believe it helps reduce sedentary behavior. Connection with the team and a better balance between professional and personal life are perceived as the main benefits of working in the office. The survey was conducted on a sample of 1,025 respondents nationwide.
