Police vehicle filmed on the sidewalk in Galați while pursuing a young man on a scooter

In Galați, a police vehicle was filmed while trying to stop a 16-year-old on an electric scooter, activating the acoustic and visual signals.

The images captured by a passerby show how the police vehicle continues to move on the sidewalk, amusing those who witnessed the scene. Subsequently, the police officers managed to catch the young man, who was fined 1,730 lei for not wearing a reflective vest and for carrying another minor.

According to IPJ Galați, since the beginning of the year, 33 road events involving electric scooters have been recorded, highlighting the need to respect traffic rules.
