The Ansthall Wind Park project, with an installed capacity of 96 MW, has been announced in Galați County, reinforcing its status as the "regional capital of wind energy." The project's value exceeds 150 million euros and is being developed by the companies OX2 (Sweden) and Hellenic Renewables (Greece). The park will be located in the territory of eight municipalities: Scânteiești, Fărtănești, Cuca, Schela, Cuza-Vodă, Pechea, Rediu, and Slobozia-Conachi, and will include 15 wind turbines with a height of 223 meters, using state-of-the-art technology from the Danish company Vestas.

The estimated annual green energy will be 312 GWh, enough to power over 50,000 households, and will contribute to reducing CO2 emissions by approximately 150,000 tons per year, equivalent to the emissions produced by 75,000 cars. Costel Fotea, the president of CJ Galați, emphasized the importance of this project in Romania's transition to sustainable energy sources and congratulated the team involved in its realization.
